The Foundation Stone For Gujrat To Jalalpur Jattan Double Lane Road Was Laid
With the funds and special efforts of PML-N Central Leader and MNA Chaudhary Hussain Elahi, the cornerstone of the two-lane Gujrat-Jalalpur Jattan highway was laid. At present, the initial grant of the two-lane road is Rs.50 crores from Jalalpur Jattan Chaudhary Zahoor Elahi Park to Adh Wali Khoi. The development work was started by MNA Chaudhary Hussain Elahi by operating a bulldozer machine.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Central Leader and MNA Chaudhary Hussain Elahi inaugurated the Adh Wali Khoi by operating a machine and also prayed for the completion of the project and the welfare of the people. The inaugural plaque of the project was erected at the famous stop, where Chaudhary Hussain Elahi cut the ribbon and joined the elders in special prayers. The construction of the road will bring great convenience to millions of people in Gujarat’s second-largest town Jalalpur Jattan and hundreds of thousands of small and large villages in the surrounding NA-68 constituency. Completion of the road will not only reduce accidents but will also reduce the journey from Gujrat to Jalalpur Jattan by only 12 minutes. After the completion of the two-lane road, the Lahore-Sialkot-Kharian motorway will also have an easy way to go from Gujrat. It will take 35 minutes for citizens of Gujrat to reach Sialkot Airport and 1 hour and 40 minutes for Lahore. With the construction of the road, the journey from Sialkot to Narowal Pasrur will be completed in one to one and a half hours.
