The Gwadar Eastbay Expressway, the country’s most crucial mega connectivity and road infrastructure project, is expected to be finished this month at the cost of $168 million.

The project was part of a larger $1.1 billion development plan for Gwadar’s city and port. After completion, the Gwadar Eastbay Expressway was a six-lane urban freeway that connected Gwadar Port with the Gwadar Free Trade Zone and the Makran Coastal Highway.

According to economic and commerce experts, the Gwadar Eastbay Expressway will be a critical step in realizing the full potential of Gwadar Port for trade, particularly in terms of connecting Gwadar Port with the Gwadar Free Trade Zone.

It’s worth noting that the completion of the Gwadar Eastbay Expressway brought a lot of benefits to the Coastal City. It would not only assist Gwadar Port in fully realizing its trading potential, but it would also establish Gwadar as a regional investment destination for Pakistani firms.
