Commissioner directs completion of Ring Road by May 30
Rawalpindi: Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Engineer Amir Khattak has said that Rawalpindi Ring Road Economic Zones will become an important source of development of the regional economy. This project will play an important role in solving the traffic problems of Rawalpindi. With the completion of the project, citizens will get improved travel facilities.
He expressed these views during a visit to Rawalpindi Ring Road and review of development works yesterday. On this occasion, Deputy Project Director, Assistant Commissioner and FWO officials briefed on the progress of the project.
The commissioner, while reviewing the speed, quality and implementation of the construction activities on the set timeline, directed that the project should be completed by May 30 this year and no compromise should be made on the quality of the work. He said that the Ring Road project will play an important role in solving the traffic problems of Rawalpindi and with the completion of this project, citizens will get improved travel facilities and there will be a clear reduction in traffic pressure.
