CM KP stated to begin construction work on Dir Motorway project

The Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) asked the relevant authorities to start construction work on the Dir Motorway project.

During a meeting to review the status of the Dir Motorway, it was stressed how important the project was and how it would significantly contribute to the district’s and the surrounding areas’ sustainable growth.

He stated that there must be no delays in the project’s execution. He further stated that all necessary preparations, such as land acquisition, must be finished within a certain time to begin the civil work.

According to the news source, the CM revealed that the provincial government had made clear efforts to develop road systems, strengthen revenue-generating industries, and match the social services sector with current needs. Once the projects are finished, the province will transform into a transportation corridor for commercial operations.

Importantly, the Dir Motorway is a 30-kilometer-long four-lane highway that runs through the villages of Ramial and Och and connects Chakdar Interchange in Malakand with the Baroon region in Lower Dir.
