Construction of new 132KV grid stations approved
The board of directors of the Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) has approved the construction of new 132KV grid stations in Multan and Sundar Industrial Estate and the payment of bank guarantee and annual fee to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) for the distribution license in Vehari Industrial Estate, a statement said.
It also approved the construction of road to connect Bahawalpur Industrial Estate with the motorway and the sales and marketing plan of Chunian Aqua Business Park.
Chairing the meeting, PIEDMC chairman Syed Nabil Hashmi said that company is facilitating business through one-window operations in its managed industrial zones.
“[The] Ease of Doing Business Index in these zones is one of the best in Pakistan. That is why industrialists are giving preference to PIEDMC-managed zones for their business,” he added.
