The Director General of Multan Development Authority (MDA), Muhammad Zahid Ikram, has announced that 80% of the metro command and control system building work has been completed.
During a visit to the under-construction building, he was briefed by Director Engineering Rana Wasim Khan on the progress of the project.
According to the Director of Engineering, the work on the building was delayed due to the non-release of funds.
However, he confirmed that the equipment had been delivered, and the installation work would be completed once the funds are released.
DG MDA directed officials to complete the finishing work of the command-and-control system as soon as the funds are released.
Furthermore, he ordered officials to start plantation work and plant shady trees around the building.

He directed that testing of the emergency exit and firefighting system must be done upon the completion of the building.
