Work Begins on Slip Road Project at Faizabad Interchange

On the directions of Rawalpindi Commissioner and Director General of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Engineer Aamir Khattak, the RDA Engineering Directorate has begun construction and rehabilitation work on a slip road at Faizabad Interchange in Rawalpindi, along with the installation of informational signboards.

The project has been estimated to cost Rs. 15.490 million. Chairman of the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team Punjab and Member of the Provincial Assembly (PP-17) Raja Hanif inaugurated the scheme.

Officials and staff of the relevant departments were also present at the inauguration ceremony. Under the project, the existing slip road at Faizabad Interchange will be repaired and rehabilitated to improve its condition. Informational signboards will also be installed at key locations to guide motorists and support traffic management in the area.

According to officials of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), the project is expected to help regulate traffic movement around Faizabad Interchange and facilitate commuters using the interchange and surrounding roads.
