Rs 42bn To Be Spent On 44-km Lodh-Multan Road Construction
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ashraf chaired a meeting to review proposed improvement and upgradation of the Lodhran–Multan road.
Officials of the National Highway Authority (NHA) briefed the meeting on the proposed construction and development of the road.
The DC said that the 44-kilometre Multan road would be built at a cost of Rs 42 billion. The deputy commissioner assured that the district administration would extend full cooperation for the execution of the mega project. He directed that beautification and plantation also be incorporated into the road development plan.
Muhammad Ashraf also called for consultations on improving Milad Chowk as part of the road construction project.
The deputy commissioner emphasized that plantation be given priority while planning the mega project. The meeting also discussed in detail the project’s funding and other technical and administrative matters.
