PCBDDA reviews progress on CBD Bab district and NSIT city projects
Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) Chief Executive Officer Imran Amin has reviewed construction progress at the CBD Bab District and CBD NSIT City, directing officials to accelerate site-clearing work while preserving the historical character of the area.
During a visit to NSIT City, project engineers informed the PCBDDA chief that the main structure of the entrance gate had been completed. Asphalt work, installation of planters and cobblestone paving in public areas are now in the final stages.
A team comprising senior PCBDDA officials, NESPAK representatives and project contractors accompanied Amin during the inspection of the two development sites.
Officials briefed the CEO on construction progress, structural milestones and design features across key project zones.
While inspecting the CBD Bab District, Amin stressed the historical importance of the site and ordered the immediate clearing of the area. He directed the project team to ensure that development work does not compromise its heritage value.
The delegation included Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Construction Asif Babar and Director Architecture and Planning Sameer Aftab Sial, along with other officials from PCBDDA and NESPAK.
