Completion Deadline Set for Rawalpindi Ring Road Project
Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Amir Khattak said the Rawalpindi Ring Road Economic Zones will contribute to regional economic development and help ease traffic congestion in the city.
He made the remarks during a visit to the Rawalpindi Ring Road project, where he reviewed ongoing construction work.
Khattak reviewed the pace and quality of construction and directed authorities to ensure completion of the project by May 30, stressing that no compromise should be made on standards.
Officials from the Frontier Works Organization and the district administration briefed him on the progress of the project during the visit.
He said the project will reduce traffic pressure in Rawalpindi and improve travel facilities for residents upon completion.
