Airports Authority Invites Bids for Construction of New Airport in Major City

The Pakistan Airports Authority has invited bids from consultants for the construction of a new airport in Sukkur.

According to the announcement, companies with expertise in airport design, master planning, and feasibility studies have been asked to submit their applications to the authority’s Planning and Development Directorate. The last date for submission is October 22.

The authority stated that firms experienced in airport development will be given preference.

Earlier, the federal government had approved the construction of new airports in Sukkur, Mirpur (Azad Kashmir), and Dera Ismail Khan to improve regional connectivity and support growing passenger traffic.
