Pakistan to export skilled, unskilled manpower to Bahrain’s construction sector
The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC), an agency under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, has announced plans to export skilled and unskilled manpower to the Kingdom of Bahrain, specifically for the construction sector.
According to an official source, OEC is currently collecting documents from interested candidates across the country, with a deadline set for December 18, 2024. The organization is already exporting skilled workers to approximately 40 countries worldwide.
Open positions include:
- Laboratory Manager: Candidates must hold a BSc in Engineering, B-Tech, Graduation, or DAE in Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in a relevant field. The Laboratory Manager will oversee laboratory staff, manage operations, ensure safety, and guide lab and field personnel in compliance with company policies.
- Laboratory Technician: Applicants should possess a 3-year Diploma in Associate Engineering or a college degree in a science-related field. Laboratory Technicians will be responsible for testing materials such as concrete, aggregate, soil, asphalt, and blocks.
