Work starts at Park Enclave III
The apex civic authority of the federal capital has said that it has started infrastructural development work in Park Enclave III, apart from building a fence around it. This was stated by a Capital Development Authority (CDA) spokesperson in a statement on Friday. The authority said that it has completed survey work for Park Enclave II and III with earthwork for construction of roads and installation of street lights is underway. Developmental work and fencing for Park Enclave III are also underway.
A few months ago, the CDA had approved Rs96 million for establishing a gas supply network in Park Enclave-I. On the other hand, developmental work and restoration of infrastructure in Park Enclave-II are also underway. A survey for digging tube wells to meet the water needs of the project has also been completed. The project concept-I (PC-I) of the project has also been approved. In September, the CDA had offered over 1,000 plots in the new residential scheme the public.
The authority claimed that it was oversubscribed, receiving 1,744 applications for the 1,061 plots marked in the scheme. The authority added that it conducted balloting for 1,047 plots, raising Rs13 billion. The CDCA conducted a digital draw to sell 271 plots measuring 25×50 square feet, 546 plots measuring 35×70, 103 plots with the size 40×80, and 64 plots of the size 50×90.
The CDA hopes to raise around 14 billion through the auction of commercial plots in the new enclave which will follow its developmental phase. Earlier, the CDA had said that it will simultaneously work on the electrification and gas supply aspects of the project along with infrastructural development to provide a complete solution to prospective residents. Last month, a bridge leading to Park Enclave was formally opened for traffic after its completion in the first phase of a project to make the enclave more accessible.
The bridge has been built to cross a seasonal drain. With the inauguration of the bridge, infrastructure development in phase-I of Park Enclave has neared completion as well. Moreover, a security system has been installed in the housing enclave, while a road network has been completed and horticulture work is in progress. The authority has already handed over plots in Park Enclave-I and people have started construction of their properties. CDA handles matters of possession prior to launching Park Enclave-III.
Furthermore, landscaping work and massive tree plantation were also being carried out at Park Enclave-I while CDA management had also directed the concerned formation to come up with a comprehensive plan for the development of parks at sites designated for parks. The civic agency had provided latest LED Street Lights, sanitation services and other facilities in Park Enclave-I.
