Work on Swabi bypass to Start Soon: Qaiser
Swabi: National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser said here on Tuesday that construction work on the 13km Swabi bypass road project would be started soon. Talking to media persons here, he said that once completed the bypass road, costing Rs680 million, would resolve the issue of frequent traffic jams in Swabi city.
“The allocation of funds for the project has been made,” he said and added that they had fulfilled another promise made with the people.
Chief Minister Mahmood Khan, who visited the district about three weeks ago, had said that Swabi bypass and all other projects in the district would be completed on priority basis.

Mr Qaiser said that the aim of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leaders was to resolve all the problems being faced by the local people.
When contacted, officials of the communication and works department said that completion of the bypass road and reconstruction of Swabi-Mardan road would make transportation quite easy and safe for the people. They said the bypass road would start from Naro Kallay and after passing through Maneri and proper Swabi village culminate at Jamalabad village.
