Two Major Parks in Lahore to Get New “Fun Lands”

The development of two large-scale fun lands in Lahore’s top parks is progressing as technical bids have been received. With five companies competing, the project has generated significant interest.

The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) announced that the fun lands will be installed in two key park,s in Lahore, marking a significant enhancement to the city’s recreational infrastructure.

Under the plan, the land in Greater Iqbal Park will be leased at PKR 30 million per year, while the lease for Jilani Park will cost PKR 12 million annually. The fun land in Jilani Park will occupy 10 kanals, whereas the one in Greater Iqbal Park will cover approximately 75,850 square feet.

PHA officials have announced that the selected company must complete the fun land construction in Lahore within 120 days. Hassan Ahmed, PHA’s Director of Coordination, revealed that the new attractions will offer a variety of activities, such as trampolining, rope courses, wall climbing, and indoor 5D gaming experiences.

The fun lands will also feature an online booking system for rides, simplifying the process for visitors. A joint committee will decide ticket prices to ensure they are both fair and accessible, according to PHA officials.
