Rs. 548.89 million to be spent on 15 aviation-related projects
The government has released Rs. 548.89 million for several aviation projects to be completed throughout the country.
During the first 5-months of FY21, the government released some funds amounting to Rs. 548.89 million for 15 aviation-related projects.
These projects would be proceeded under the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP 2020-21) and the total amount of these projects is set to be Rs. 1,320.879 million.
For the fiscal year, Rs. 61.923 million will be spent on the construction of a double-stored hostel for women. And Rs. 90 million is expected to be spent on a barrack for corporals, inspectors, and assistant directors.
There is a provision where a camp and accommodation for Airport Security Force (ASF) would be constructed. The cost for these projects is expected to be Rs. 50 million and Rs. 69.756 million, respectively.
According to more information, Rs. 20 million will be spent on the construction of accommodation for ASF personnel, at Chitral airport, Rs. 65 million for barracks for ASF at Faisalabad Airport, Rs. 21.280 million for the Director South Secretariat offices ASF along with allied facilities adjacent to HQs ASF Karachi, and more to be spent for other airports.
