Speech at the First Ceremony Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, President, Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry said the super-fast charging station of electric vehicles (EVs) in Pakistan, assembled by Tesla Industries. Islamabad.
He said many countries around the world are taking initiatives to reduce CO2 emissions by introducing electric vehicles.
He praised the government’s initiative to approve Pakistan’s first policy on electric vehicles and stressed that the government must take strong measures to implement it so that investors can benefit from its incentives to manufacture electric vehicles in the country. .
He said EV chargers would help reduce Pakistan’s capacity payments to the IPPs, which would also lead to a reduction in circular debt.
He appreciates the initiative of Tesla Industries to launch a “Made in Pakistan” product and begins assembling a complete range of EV chargers in Islamabad.
He calls it a major breakthrough in the development of infrastructure of electric vehicles and hopes that it will facilitate the growth of this means of transport in the region.
Aamir Hussain, CEO of Tesla Industries Islamabad shared the details of the infrastructure development plan for EV chargers.
He said Tesla will assemble EV chargers of different voltages of 30, 60, 120 and 250 kW to meet the needs of customers.
He said the 120KW EV charger will take 25-30 minutes to charge a vehicle.
He said that since 1991, Tesla has always been the pioneer in introducing modern and innovative products in the energy sector.
He said Tesla was the largest manufacturer of CNG dispensers installed almost all over Pakistan, and these super-fast EV chargers will be rolled out with a similar concept.
Waleed Bin Aamir, director of Tesla Industries, has expanded the EV chargers’ technology.
He said the Tesla EV chargers will be integrated with the mobile APP for per-booking charging time slots at any station which will make customers very comfortable planning their journeys and routes.
He said Tesla plans to install the new EV chargers at workplaces and malls soon.
