Interior Minister visits different projects in Islamabad
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited different projects in Islamabad.
He reviewed the progress of the under-construction Islamabad Model Jail project.
On the Interior Minister’s instructions, the first phase of the Model Jail will be converted into a high-security prison.
Mohsin Naqvi said training of personnel assigned to the Model Jail will be completed by the end of this month.
During visit to Capital Police College, the Interior Minister sought an upgradation plan for the College. He directed that the training programs be modernized with special focus on AI, IT and physical training.
Minister Naqvi also reviewed the facilities provided at the Police Khidmat Center in F-6. He visited various counters and observed the process of service delivery to the people. He said the government will continue its efforts at all levels to improve citizen services.
The Interior Minister also laid the foundation stone for the extension project of Ataturk Avenue.
