IDWP Discusses Projects for Suburban Area of Islamabad
After a long period, the federal government has restarted development projects under the Islamabad Development Working Party (IDWP). After the decision, the projected halted since 2015 would start again in 15 union councils of Islamabad, meaning that the network of roads and street would be started soon. The cost of these development projects related to sewerage and clean drinking water would be Rs 1 billion.

According to details, the meeting of the IDWP held on Thursday and chaired by Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Amir Ali Ahmad discussed different schemes for suburban areas of Islamabad as well as improvement in service delivery for citizens. The meeting also discussed the land revenue records management system and directed to complete in record duration of six months.
