Faisal Mosque Set to Undergo Majestic Transformation Soon

Welcoming the esteemed Saudi Ambassador to his office, Interior Secretary Aftab Akbar Durrani extended wholehearted support for the restoration and enhancement of Faisal Mosque, a symbol of collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, named after Shah Faisal.

Both Interior Secretary Durrani and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al Maliki expressed a shared commitment to bolster the already exemplary relations between their respective nations. Emphasizing the historical ties, Secretary Durrani highlighted the cooperative spirit that led to the construction of Faisal Mosque.

During the meeting, the officials discussed the recent visit of Imam Kaaba to Pakistan, which was praised by Secretary Durrani. In turn, Ambassador Al Maliki conveyed his best wishes for the upcoming elections in Pakistan, further underlining the positive and friendly nature of the bilateral relationship.

Secretary Interior Durrani took the opportunity to apprise the Saudi Ambassador of the commendable “Road-to-Makkah” project. In an exciting development, he revealed plans to extend the project to include Karachi, underscoring its potential impact on the upcoming Hajj.
