Development Work on Kalash Valley roads to commence in the first quarter of 2021
Special Assistant to KP Chief Minister Wazir Zada has announced the Provincial Government`s final decision, to begin with, the realignment, widening, and blacktopping of roads in the valley of Kalash Bumburate, Birir, and Rumbur in the very first quarter of 2021.
He also added that the construction work on the roads will be processed by the National Highway Authority (NHA) to make sure the implementation of the international standards in the development of these roads.
He also told that once the valleys have been connected to Chitral-Peshawar Road near the Ayun Valley, then it will definitely assist in generating socio-economic activities.
He also said that the tourist spots in Upper and Lower Dir are also being promoted to their maximum potential and the Madak Lush Valley has been given the status of Special Zone to connect to further connect it with the other parts and Rs. 4 billion have been allocated for the development of the road.
