CDA to operate Silver Line Bus service for IJP Road
According to a news report on 3 February, IJP Road’s Silver Line Metro Bus will soon become operational. The decision came from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to accommodate travelers.
As per sources, the development authority has initiated the construction of bus bays and stations for Silver Line Bus service on IJP Road in a board meeting. The service station master plan includes establishing service areas, tuck shops, and lavatories. These bus bays will provide excellent service to travelers across Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
As per the PC-I details, the Silver Line Metro Bus is in a fast development mode, and the construction of roads, two flyovers, two bridges, and seven culverts is in process. The development authority has initiated the IJP Road’s widening and overhaul. In addition, the CDA chairman has instructed their team to complete the project by March 2023.
