“There are opportunities to engage in the exploration of oil and gas structures in Pakistan, as well as to cooperate with relevant companies in the mining sector,” the deputy minister emphasized.
Both sides also discussed opportunities for cooperation in oil and natural gas exploration in Pakistan.
He also drew attention to the agreement signed between the governments of both countries on energy cooperation and highlighted SOCAR’s activity as a reliable supplier of LNG in Pakistan during the period preceding the signing of the document.
He mentioned that the agreement signed shortly before in the field of LNG supply created great opportunities in this direction.
