Traffic Plan Announced for Peshawar Road Remodeling Project

The City Traffic Police (CTP) have prepared a traffic management plan ahead of the Peshawar Road remodeling project, with construction work set to start formally on Tuesday.

The department will deploy more than 250 traffic personnel in three shifts throughout the project. It will also station additional officers along alternate routes to manage traffic and minimize congestion.

Motorists travelling from Saddar to Peshawar Road will have to take Abid Majeed Road and Sher Khan Chowk under the new arrangement. Drivers coming from Range Road towards Saddar and 22 Number will use Sher Khan Chowk and Khattak Chowk instead.

The CTP will divert traffic travelling from Peshawar Road towards Saddar during construction hours. Motorists will follow Allahabad Turn, Haali Road and the service road opposite Rafay Mall.
