Nishtar Road Project To Be Completed By October

MULTAN: Construction work on the 975-meters-long Nishtar Road was expected to be completed by October,Commissioner Amir Karim Khan said on Wednesday.

Talking exclusively to media,the commissioner said that Rs.316 million project had been launched to transform Nishtar Road into a modern health corridor,equipped with improved drainage,carpeting and parking facilities.

Regarding the construction of the MDA Chowk-Lodhi Colony Road, he said land acquisition on both sides of the road was underway.

He added that construction of the road,followed by its expansion,would also be completed soon.

The commissioner said the divisional administration was leaving no stone unturned to complete the development projects launched across Multan district at the earliest.

He urged the people to extend their cooperation to the administration and provide necessary guidance to help achieve the desired goals of expansion and development.
