DC Urges Timely Completion Of Flagship Development Schemes
HYDERABAD: In compliance with the instructions of the chief secretary of Sindh, Syed Asif Hyder Shah, a meeting and detailed review regarding the progress of flagship development projects likely to be completed during the year 2026 was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Zain-ul-Abedin Memon at the Committee Hall of the New Deputy Commissioner Complex, Hyderabad, here on Wednesday.
According to a handout, the meeting was attended by officers of the concerned departments and project stakeholders. During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress, implementation status and challenges relating to key development projects, including Autobahn Road Phase-III from Latifabad Unit No. 7 to Fateh Chowk, rehabilitation of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Flyover at Hala Naka, construction of the road from Alamdar Chowk to Ex-NH5, and dualization of the road from Shahbaz Flyover to Latifabad Unit No.
7 Underpass, water supply schemes for various villages of Deh Vidh in Taluka Rural, construction of the road from Hussainabad, Latifabad Unit No. 4 to Latifabad Unit No. 11 and construction of the bridge from GC University to Kali Mori via Phuleli Road.
DC emphasized the importance of timely completion of all ongoing development schemes and directed the concerned officers to ensure close coordination among all stakeholders. He instructed that any issue, hurdle, encroachment, utility shifting matter or administrative obstacle affecting the progress of the projects must be addressed on an urgent basis.
He stated that no unnecessary delay in the execution of these public welfare projects would be tolerated and that all departments must take proactive measures to ensure uninterrupted progress.
