DC Visit District Complex To Review Ongoing Construction Work
CHINIOT: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ayesha Rizwan on Wednesday visited the under-construction District Complex on Jhumra Road to review the pace and quality of ongoing development work.
The Deputy Director of Development and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion and briefed her on the project’s progress.
The officials informed the DC that construction work on the District Complex was moving forward at a fast pace, with multiple blocks under development simultaneously, though some sections require further acceleration.
Expressing dissatisfaction over the delays in certain areas, Ayesha directed the contractor, Axon Building, to expedite construction work and ensure the project was completed within the stipulated time frame using all available resources.
She said the completion of the new District Complex would provide modern facilities for government offices and allow citizens to access multiple departmental services from a single location, improving overall service delivery.
The DC emphasized that no compromise would be tolerated on construction quality and stressed that the work must be completed in a transparent manner.
