Advisory Issued for Travel on Major Motorway Due to Construction
Traffic flow on the Lahore section of the M-2 Motorway has slowed down due to ongoing construction work near the Ravi Bridge.
According to the Motorway Police spokesperson, repair and maintenance activities have created temporary bottlenecks.
To manage the situation, additional patrol units and personnel have been deployed along the affected stretch to ensure safety and maintain order.
Officials said that heavy transport vehicles have been temporarily restricted from entering the area to prevent congestion. Motorists have been urged to exercise patience, follow traffic regulations, and cooperate with on-duty officers.
The Motorway Police further advised travelers to check real-time traffic updates before starting their journey and to contact the helpline 130 for any assistance or information.
