Beautification Projects Worth PKR 50Mn Underway for Tank City
The district administration has launched a beautification campaign worth PKR 50 million in Tank City.
In this regard, the authorities have taken steps to cater to the encroachment issues and demolished more than 400 shops and electricity poles in several city areas.
As per the details, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allocated PKR 50 million for the development projects under the beautification campaign.
According to the details, Deputy Commissioner Hameed Ullah Khattak informed that all the agencies have been directed to use quality materials for construction and to complete the projects within the specified time frame.
He added that the Public Health and Engineering Department has also been instructed to install pipelines around the city to improve the water supply to the residents of the city.
It was shared that the beautification projects also include, the construction of Tank main road, solar lights at various points, and facilities for a family park.
