Pakistan’s Top Builders to Launch Projects Worth Rs. 1.3 Trillion This Year
Pakistan’s top builders have expressed satisfaction over the measures taken by the National Coordination Committee on Housing, Construction, and Development by providing them a conducive environment to expand the construction sector in the country.

In this regard, 13 notable builders have assured the government to launch different projects by the end of the year. The projects will generate Rs. 1.3 million in revenue and 100,000 housing units.
Prime Minister Imran has issued directives to ensure the provision of basic amenities for the new projects. He has also warned to take stern action against officials impeding the process.
The development emanated from the weekly meeting of the National Coordination Committee on Housing, Construction, and Development chaired by PM Imran Khan. Representatives of the Association of Builders and Developers (ABAD) attended the meeting as well.
During the meeting, ABAD members acknowledged that the incumbent federal government has not only streamlined the process of obtaining NOCs but reduced the duration considerably as well. Not just this, private banks are urging builders to avail credit portfolio reserved for construction, house building, and development activities noted ABAD members.
PM Imran said that the promotion of the construction sector is the paramount priority of the federal government as he would do everything to extend maximum support to the sector.
He added that construction projects in major cities will provide builders with vast growth opportunities. It will also help Pakistan with job and wealth creation which will enable the country to achieve economic stability.
PM Imran revealed that the government is soon going to launch an online application, tracking, and monitoring system and open one-window facilitation centers to facilitate the construction industry.
