45,000 Low Cost Housing Units in construction under Naya Pakistan Housing scheme
Around 45,000 Low Cost Housing Units are under construction across the country under Naya Pakistan Housing scheme.
This was informed at the meeting of Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority Policy Board held in Islamabad, with its Chairman Lt. General (Retd) Anwar Ali Hyder in the chair.
The meeting was informed that with facilitation offered by the government, the private sector has submitted 317 proposals to the Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority for construction of more than three million housing units.
Similarly the banks have received 70,858 loan applications worth 269.8 billion rupees under the scheme and an amount of 33.4 billion rupees has been disbursed against 9,964 applications.
